The student troupe experience is a valuable one for the intermediate level belly dance student! It's the place where dancers hone their performance skills and get to try out different styles and props in the context of full choreography. The small group format means dancers get plenty of individual guidance and feedback to help them grow into the very best dancer they can be in a positive environment!

Beyond learning, student bellydance groups offer a supportive community for emerging dancers, with peers who share their enthusiasm and passion for Middle Eastern dance! They joy of creating and pride of sharing finished works is even more fulfilling when it's accomplished as a team.

Student Troupe members commit to:

  • Consistent weekly attendance in one of the following classes to continue to develop their technique skills: Intermediate Bellydance OR Live Music Bellydance.
  • Consistent weekly attendance at troupe rehearsal (Wednesdays 8:00 - 9:30 PM)
  • Troupe Fee is $75 per month which covers Wednesday rehearsal class.
  • A minimum 3-month commitment. At the end of the first choreography project, students can recommit for the next project (or take a break if they need to).
  • Some costuming expenses (estimated at $75).
