Divine Chaos Tribal Fusion (DC Tribal) was established in 2008. Co-founders Shannon and Tammy fell in love with the emotion, creative expression and sense of community that came along with tribal style belly dance as students. Divine Chaos' signature style reflects its roots in improvisational tribal belly dance with innovations of sword, fire, skirts and fan. As a total artistic endeavor, Divine Chaos has its own musical ensemble that accompanies them for performance.

About The Show...

She’s Got Hips Productions is the event planning arm of Zahr Jamil Middle Eastern Dance Company. The 2012 “The World Dances!” event is being co-produced by Mahin Sciacca and Fayza Azar who have 20 years of ethnic dance experience between them. In this show, they will be bringing together soloists and groups representing a variety of world dance forms. The purpose of “The World Dances” is to celebrate the universal language of dance as uniquely expressed by the world’s cultures.

No dance style grows in isolation. The universal experience of expression through movement has fueled the shared experience of dance between cultures. In our shrinking world, we are increasingly aware of our human diversity. “The World Dances” is a window into the universal language of dance and a celebration of this shared art.
