FEBRUARY BELLY DANCE SESSION
Multi-Level Classes
in Phoenix & Gilbert
Every class starts with a dance warm-up. From there we cover the foundations of belly dance technique with thorough breakdowns and drill practice. We put the pieces together with combos to work on transitions, musicality and flow. Familiarity with Arabic rhythms is essential to this dance style - so we learn these through zill (finger cymbal) drills. (Practice zills are provided for class use)
In this Multi-Level format, beginners are presented with the basics, and continuing more experienced students are given more complex layering and variations for each skill. Class sizes are small so each student gets the personal attention they deserve and just the challenge level they need for success and progress.

What Should I Wear and Bring To Class?
Please wear comfortable exercise clothes such as yoga pants,
sweatpants or bike shorts and a fitted top. Either bare feet or
soft-soled dance shoes are fine. Body alignment is very important and cannot
be effectively checked in skirts or oversized t-shirts. A yoga mat is useful for
seated exercises but not essential.
Missed Class Policy & Make-Ups
Session prices are for consecutive classes. If you need to miss a class, you are welcome to make it up in the same level at the other location during the same session. No refunds or carry-over credit for unused classes. No refunds or "make up" dates on Mini-Workshops.
